Technical support in one form or another has been my life for more than 20 years.
I have extensive experience in technical and management roles both in the US and throughout Asia-Pacific and China. This experience includes installation, integration, test, turn-up, maintenance and troubleshooting of optical networking equipment.
My management experience includes forming and managing multi-cultural and multi-lingual teams in an international context.
I worked as an aviation electronics technician for 7 years before moving into the telecom industry.
At AT&T's manufacturing arm, Western Electric, I worked for 7 years as an electronics technician maintaining automated test and production equipment.
After I was promoted into the engineering staff, I worked in various test and support roles, including more than 6 years in customer-facing technical support roles throughout Asia-Pacific and China, and in Europe and the Americas.
